Third Mainland Bridge Lagos Nigeria actually use to be the longest Bridge in Africa with over 11.8 kilometers long from the starting point to the ending point, but it was later overthrown by the existence of a new bridge in Cairo, the capital of Egypt known as the 6th October bridge which has about 20.5 kilometers long.

So currently, third mainland bridge Lagos Nigeria is now ranked as the second longest bridge in Africa while the 6th October bridge rank as the longest Bridge In Africa.

So I was opportune to ride through the Africa’s once longest bridge, and all I can say is that the journey was amazing and fun.

I ride the popular Lagos State bus known as Danfo and it was such a fun experience over there and as a Traveller who wouldn’t want to miss documenting any of my travel experience, I shot a video of my ride in third mainland bridge and also shared it on my channel.

All I can say is that the journey was amazing and fun, unlike other route in Lagos State where there is a lot of traffic, Third Mainland Bridge seems to be different and it serves as an alternative route for most commercial bus drivers in Lagos State.
