Don’t Loose Your Value Over The Little They Offers You – Know Your Value

Value: Just as we believe, half bread is better than None, but sometimes NONE can be better than the half. This is a proverb that requires deep understanding to be able to understand and digest it.

Quite bad some people can’t give you something freely now without seeking for an alternative way to collect it back. That is, when people give you work, they look for a way to take advantage of you in order to satisfy their selfish interest at the cost of your own happiness and personality.

Some really want to shape you to their test simply because they are rendering help to you, some want you to be “under dog ” to them simply because they are contributing to you in one way or the other. I’m not told about it, no one said this to me, I realize it my self. I observe it my self, I have experience it a lot and I keep wondering why people are so. Should I say it is NATURE?.

Those on top will like those below them to be oppressed and keep being low to them, they will like those under them to keep answering “under dog” to them simply because they haven’t come up to the state of being like them.

I grew up observing a lot on how innocent people are being taken advantage of, how the rich uses the poor as their slaves and at their expense of their happiness, especially in this part of the world I come from.

The rich make a token of money offer to the poor and still taken advantage of their values, take advantage of their human right and the respect they ought to have as a human being.

“No one cares on those things”, “money is the power”, “money is the Koko”, “the greater” and all in all, that is the mentality those whose values and respect are being traded with in exchange of a token of amount, do operate on.

They heard that half is better than NONE, so they prefer half than having none, they prefer the job over their happiness, they prefer token of money over their values and human rights which will be trembled upon.

If it will cost your happiness, kindly take your leave.

Stop depending on the half of the bread over your values and respect, sometimes NONE is far better than the half.

A proverb from the igbo side says, “instead of you to give me excess drink that will make me fall on the road, it is better you don’t give me any”. In other words, instead of giving me half bread that I can’t be able to eat and enjoyed with my values, respect and human right, it is better you give me NONE.

Don’t loose your right, don’t loose your respect and don’t loose your values because of the little offer given to you. Don’t prefer getting half from them at the expense of your happiness, at the expense of your respect and at the expense of your value, CHOOSE NONE over it.

Am not going contrary to the case of being submissive and loyal to your boss till you achieve your aim, but some of the bosses take advantage of people a lot. Some of the so called bosses have their several tricks and several ways of using and dumping people. I’m not writing based on what I heard or what people said, i’m writing based on what I see around the society, i’m writing from experience.

Yes, no one can deny it, it does happen everywhere most especially in this part of the world I come from. And it’s so appalling…

But you can definitely cut it shot. As I always advice, if it will cost your happiness, kindly take your leave… If it will cost your value, bro take u-turn..

NONE can be OK for you than getting such a token in a bad manner, seek alternative and enjoy your happiness and keep your value intact. Thanks
